Following the unexpected announcement of Ghanaian actor and model Mawuli Gavor's engagement to his Indian-Austrian girlfriend Remya in September 2022, the actor has once again brought news to the public. Mawuli and Remya are expecting their first child together. The Ghanaian actor and model shared the good news on his IG page as he celebrates his birthday today March 22. The announcement was accompanied by photos of the heavily pregnant Remya in different poses alongside Mawuli.

Mawuli Gavor who was previously considered the playboy of the entertainment industry, started out in the industry as a model while in the US as an undergraduate of business management and finance. Upon returning to Ghana, he began his career as an accountant. He however became a brand ambassador to Martini in 2013 and changed his career path. He transitioned into acting in Nollywood movies and is known for the movie Obsession. He has gone on to act in multiple productions. In 2018, Mawuli produced two films and also won the Best of Nollywood award for best kiss in a movie alongside Odera Olivia Orji.
