Popular standup comedian and movie actor, Ayodeji Makun also known as AY has lambasted controversial former minister of aviation, Femi Fani Kayode over his bigotry and inciting remark about the Ndi Igbo living in Lagos.
Recall that in the wake of the Lagos State governorship election on March 18th, 2023, certain prominent members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) embarked on social media propaganda against the Igbo populace in Lagos. Notorious leader of the Lagos State Park and Garages management committee, Musiliu Akinsanya had in a viral video, threatened the Igbo community in Lagos. In his threat, he warned ndi Igbo to steer clear off the gubernatorial election in Lagos State.
Consequently, reports of violence and harassment against the Igbo living in Lagos dominated the Nigeria media during and after the governorship election.
Reacting to the social media war against Ndi Igbo, A. Y accused Femi Fani Kayode whose wife hails from Igbo land and whose four children have Igbo root in consequence, of championing the inglorious social media propaganda against the Igbos in Lagos particularly.
"Now that d elections are officially 'over' in Lagos State, I am sure all these talks about BIGOTS & MAGGOTS will end on d lips of some COCONUT heads like d FOOLISH FEDERAL KOLA-NUT (FFK) seekers, Una for tell us wetin una want we Yoruba boys to do with our Igbo wives & children", AY tweeted.

Despite the public outcry against the unrestricted intimidation and attack on the Igbo community in Lagos during the gubernatorial and state assembly elections, the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as president Muhammadu Buhari is yet to condemn the condemnable act by some Yoruba elite.
