Davido's ‘Timeless’ Album Tops Charts, Gets One million Streams In Six Hours

 It’s no news that Global superstar, David Adeleke more known as Davido has released a new album, today, March 31, 2023.

The much-awaited album, titled ‘Timeless’, just hours after its release on Boompay has reportedly amassed one million streams and it is also currently the No. 1 album on Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart, UK’s Top Albums Chart as well as in 17 other countries on Apple Music.

Davido had in the early hours of Friday announced the release of the 17-track album on his social media pages. The multiple award winner in the process talked about the process he went through from his previous album to the latest and also gave Chioma Rowland, his wife, a shout-out while appreciating his fans and people who ensured the completion of the project.

“At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least,” Davido wrote on Twitter.

Singles from the ‘Timeless’ album also topped Sierra Leone’s Apple Music Songs Chart, from number 1 to 17.
