Breaking: Results From INEC's IReV Portal Reveals Peter Obi Won 19 States

A few days after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the eventual winner of the February 25th Presidential Election, data on the INEC's Result Viewing Portal (IReV), show that Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not actually win the presidential election.

As INEC has uploaded 100% polling units results for the just concluded presidential election, the summary of the polling units results prove that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party ( LP), Peter Obi secured the majority votes cast by Nigerians during the presidential election.

According to the data on the INEC's IReV Portal, Peter Obi won in 19 States  of the Federation and also in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP), the first runner up in the presidential election, judging by the data on INEC's IReV Portal, won in eight states of the Federation. The All Progressive Congress (APC), won in seven states.

INEC has been urged not delete the uploaded data on the IRev portal as the candidates of the Labour Party and the People's Democratic Party are challenging the outcome of the presidential election in court.

Interestingly, observers and some international organizations have expressed displeasure at the conduct of the presidential election which is said to have been marred by lack of transparency and breach of the electoral process.
