Breaking: Peter Obi Finally Speaks On Wike's Betrayal

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25th presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi has spoken on the alleged illegal influence of the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on the 2023 presidential election results in Rivers State.

Nyesom Wike who obviously worked against his party's presidential candidate and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, reportedly influenced the election results in the state in favour of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Speaking on Arise Tv today, Peter Obi dispelled the report that his victory in Lagos over Tinubu was due to the Igbo people living in Lagos. While speaking, he stated that the indigenous people of Lagos gave him the needed victory in Lagos.

Mr. Obi also pointed out that he is certain that he got more than 50% of votes in Rivers State. He said despite governor Nyesom Wike working against his presidential ambition that he got more than 50% of votes cast in the presidential election in Rivers State.

“Some people said he got votes in Lagos because of Igbos. How many Igbos live in Lagos? I got more votes from indigenous people in Lagos than those you can call visitors. Is it Igbos who voted for me in Nasarawa, Plateau and Abuja? In Rivers where you know that the governor came out against me in everything if the real votes in Rivers were counted, I won more than 50% in the State,” Obi said.
