It was reported that the promising Labour Party(LP) governorship aspirant, Anumudu who had plans of contesting in the governorship primaries of LP died in his house in Lagos after he had returned from the party’s meeting at the party national headquarters in Abuja on Friday.
Anumudu a multi-billionaire businessman cum politician has been contesting for the governorship seat of the state since 1998 and he was also the Zenith Labour party governorship candidate.
Anumudu who recently obtained his governorship interest from at Abuja is said to be among the favorite to win the party’s primary slated for next month.
He is an astute politician, legal luminary and a good ambassador of the state. He has contested for the Governorship election in the past under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
The late politician had already paid the sum of 25 million Naira for Labour Party’s Governorship form for the November 11th 2023 Guber contest.
