Actress, entrepreneur, media personality and owner of Just Afang and Yogiegee Restaurant Wofai Fada, took to the streets to share plates of rice and stew as well bottles of water to Nigerians queuing at ATM stands in different parts of Lagos. In the video, many citizens beleaguered by the unavailability of cash as a result of the naira redesign by the Central Bank, gratefully reached for the packs of food and bottles of water.
Wofai Fada is well known for her unconventional style of generosity and charity towards the public. In 2020, her restaurant Just Afang and Yogiegee Restaurant located in Lekki was demolished, the demolition garnered sympathy and goodwill towards Wofai from many Nigerians. She has since found another location and moved the restaurant to Ikoyi Lagos, to the delight of her patrons and well-wishers.
