A video of Nigerians, reportedly supporters of the Labour Party's presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi, who spent the night at an unnamed polling unit has made its way to the internet. The video which recorded the time at as 2:00am, had an overview of people asleep in different strategic spots in the unnamed location. The essence of the outdoor camping was to ensure that they got accredited early enough to participate in the elections.

The elections officially commenced in various parts of the nation at 8:30am on the morning of 25th February, 2023. Currently, many units have recorded an impressive and punctual turn out of voters across different parts of the country. Nigerians have reacted heartily to the video by stating that the frenzy with which citizens are determined to take part in the elections, is proof of renewed hope. Nigerian citizens as well as the world at large, hold anticipatory breaths on the outcome of the presidential election.
