Students of University of Benin, Edo state have reportedly brutalized a Nigerian soldier at an ATM Booth on the campus of the university.
According to an eyewitness who shared the video of the scene, some soldiers who came to withdraw cash at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) within the university campus, resorted to intimidating those who queued at the ATM. The intimidation resulted in a female student being brutalized by a female soldier who came along with other male soldiers.
Interestingly, angered by the unprofessional conduct of the soldiers, the students attacked one of the male soldiers, leaving him on the ground and at the mercy of no one especially as the aggrieved students wouldn't want to add soldiers intimidation to their frustration over naira notes scarcity across the country.
