Video: How African Female Football Team Chased And Battered A Referee Over Penalty Decision

 In Democratic Republic of Congo, DC Motema Pembe Women's team chased and attacked the center referee for not awarding a penalty against their opponent, TP Mazembe Women.

DC Motema Pembe were trailing their opponents by 5:1 and felt that the officiating referee denied them an opportunity to score through a penalty kick. Interestingly, the aggrieved players chased the referee out of the football pitch and battered him at the sideline before he eventually escaped into the tunnel.

These unconventional and professional acts have become a regularity in the African countries' local football games. The fans and players resorted to physical attack on the referee when the decision of the referee goes against them.
