Tears are flowing in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital following the shooting of an armed protester by suspected anti-riot squad.
Amid the raging fuel and naira notes scarcity, Nigerians across the country have taken to the street to express their grievances at the misruling All Progressive Congress (APC) government.
For over five months, Nigerians have been queuing up, sleeping at filling stations to get petrol at exorbitant prices. The recolouring of some Naira notes by the Nigeria's financial authority has caused untold hardship to Nigerians who are unable to withdraw their deposits in Nigerian banks.
A young man who joined others to protest against these and other hardship inflicted on Nigerians by the incompetent administration of president Muhammadu Buhari, was reportedly shot by some policemen.
