Evangelist, producer and founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Mike Bamiloye has put up a post on his official social media platforms cautioning on the ills of Valentine's Day celebration. The evangelist declared that as a result of Valentine's Day many young men and women will place their entire life virtues and destinies in the hands of marine agents tonight. He further stated that celebration of Valentine's Day is "an abuse of the day of love". Pastor Mike Bamiloye is gradually gaining public interest and sometimes ridicule over his constant declaration of hell and brimstone on many common practices amongst youths.

Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14. It originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine and, through later folk traditions, has become a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world.
