Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has come under fire for publicly declaring her loyalty to the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The actress in a post via her official social media platform revealed that she met Bola Ahmed Tinubu "the incoming president" of Nigeria and he shared some of his ideas, visions and strategy to solve the nation's challenges with her. Toyin Abraham further stated that listening to the APC's presidential candidate reaffirmed her reason for choosing Tinubu.

Toyin Abraham has received a great deal of criticism and trolling for her vocal support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Nigerians have labelled the actress "foolish", while stating that it was no wonder she always played the roles of "a fool" in film productions. Yet others have asked the actress to get off her high horse because if Tinubu couldn't share his so-called ideas with Nigerians during his campaign that ran for many months, Toyin was obviously deluding herself into believing Tinubu's incoherent ramblings which have been widely nicknamed "Bala Blu" by netizens.
