An adhoc staff of INEC with the username @TEHILAH on Twitter has posted that he's under pressure to upload fake results in Rivers state. According to the tweet, he had conducted elections in Obiahia Ward 3 Unit O14 of Rivers State and he declared Governor Nyesom Wike an enemy to Nigeria. In the course of the election, governor Wike displayed uncharacteristic loyalty to the All Progressive Congress despite being a member of The People's Democratic Party.

The INEC adhoc staff revealed that the Labour Party had 139 votes while PDP and APC had 17 and 29 votes respectively. He warned that the INEC team was being coerced to change the results. Nigerians have taken to social media to lash at Governor Nyesom Wike and his general manner of conduct during the elections. The Governor has also been accused of corruption and intimidation with netizens urging the international community to declare a visa ban on the governor.
