You Are Only Entertaining The OBIdient Audience For Money: AY Makun Fires Back At Psquare Over Presidential Elections

  

Veteran comedian, Ayo Makun more known as AY has responded to Paul Psquare's subtle attack on his political choice ahead of the February 2023 polls.

AY had shared a Tweet on his Instagram page about the 2023 presidential election, where he touched on the three front liners with the caption: “Can your level of Atikulation to this question be traced to your senses of Obedience in saying "EMI lokan" ?”

Paul Okoye also known as Rudeboy took to the comment section of the post and asked AY to stop sitting on the fence.

He wrote:  “Bro make Una no dey stand for fence 🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️”

Visibly pissed AY did not take Rudeboy’s comment lightly and stated that the singer has his phone number and could have just called him to share his thoughts. He also threw a shade at the Psquare brothers for campaigning for Obi for the money, noting that there is a difference between people working for the outcome of the election and those getting appearance fees to entertain poeople at political  rallies.

He wrote:

Continuing he said:

“@iamkingrudy No need to even call me. Make I answer you here, since you already get idea of wetin you don plan achieve with this comment.  There is a major difference in entertaining the Obedient audience at a fee and sitting planning strategically and directly with stakeholders for a better Nigeria. Our Endsars  Social media showcase only cost us innocent lives without getting the expected results. To you on social media, I am sitting on the fence. Do you, and what you understand for now. But you will only apologize later.”

 

Paul seeing the anger in AY’s post had to apologize, he wrote:

“@aycomedian I will not apologize later … I will apologize right now …. And very sorry bro how my comment turns out … yes you are right about having your number, but the honest truth is that we’ve gone beyond pvc registration to almost done with collecting pvc ….. is almost a month to election my brother …. Look how the country is going backwards every single day …. It’s painful, we might be comfortable for who we are … but look around you , people are suffering…. No vex bro …. I only wish we all get it right this time … like you said , you been playing your part which I have witnessed in your shows personally.”
