A former employee of Zenith Bank with the TikTok username aphrodite_zee has cried to social media calling out the bank on the mysterious disappearance of her four million naira. The aggrieved woman stated that she used to work with the bank in one of the branches located at Apapa Lagos and that account was originally a staff account.

The TikToker further revealed that the money was moved in three batches from her account to different accounts belonging to Access Bank and UBA. She emphatically stated the Zenith account was her sole account and her card/account details had not been compromised in any way. The ex-banker urged Zenith Bank to hasten the refund of her money as that was her entire savings and she was fully to go to war with the bank. Nigerians have reacted to the video by sharing various personal stories of how they lost money to reported thieving schemes of and banks and their members of staff. The banks often claimed that the unauthorized transactions were untraceable.
