Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has joined other alumni of his alma mater Baptist Boys' High School, Abeokuta to mark the school's centenary anniversary. The Old Boys association of the school, took to walking the streets of Abeokuta to commemorate the school's hundredth year existence. The alumnus were similarly dressed in white t-shirts bearing the school's badge and brown khaki shorts or trousers. Former president Obasanjo who led the walk, was seen jovially urging the others on while playing the role of "senior prefect".

Baptist Boys' High School Abeokuta was established in January 1923. BBHS Old Boys Association has branches in the UK/Ireland, USA/Canada, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Ijebu Ode, Lagos and Abuja. Alongside former president Obasanjo, other notable alumnus of BBH include: First Premier Obafemi Awolowo, former speaker of the House of Representatives Dimeji Bankole, politician and winner of the 1993 presidency election, Moshood(M.K.O) Abiola, amongst other notable public figures.
