Entrepreneur, banker and former Chairman of defunct Skye Bank Tunde Ayeni, is allegedly going through a paternity tussle with a former lover who is reportedly an ex-classmate of his daughter. The former lover who's accusing of being the father of her child, is a lawyer resident in Abuja named Adaobi Alagwu. A couple of days before, Tunde Ayeni had publicly denied being the father of Adaobi's child, he labelled her claim an "unfounded tale". However, he admitted to have "briefly" been in a relationship with Adaobi in 2019.

Sources reveal that mutual acquaintances and friends who were aware of the rendezvous between Tunde Ayeni and Adaobi Alagwu insist that Tunde is indeed the father of Adaobi's child. The sources further revealed that Tunde had been funding Adaobi's lifestyle to the point of buying her the house she currently resides in Abuja as well as setting up a law practice on her behalf. Tunde was also reportedly known to all members of Adaobi's family as her "sponsor". Tunde's relationship with Adaobi has reportedly led to an ongoing rift between the former bank chairman and his daughter.
