Festus Keyamo Reveals That He Is Ready To Quit Campaigning For Bola Ahmed Tinubu



 The spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential campaign council (PCC), Festus Keyamo has revealed that he is ready to quit his membership to the APC PCC if Bola Ahmed Tinubu tries to stop him from pursuing his case against the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar.

Recall that Atiku Abubakar's former aide, Michael Achinugu in series of viral videos, revealed that Atiku Abubakar from year 1999– 2007, while he served as the vice president of Nigeria, engaged in series of financial crimes which includes money laundering. 

Festus Keyamo while speaking on Channels tv, noted that Atiku Abubakar should be arrested and prosecuted over his alleged breach of the code of conduct Act, money Laundering, Criminal Breach of Trust and Conspiracy.

He has also instituted a case in Nigeria court to seek the compulsion of the Nigeria's anti-graft agencies which he has written petition to, to arrest and prosecute Atiku Abubakar.

Festus Keyamo further explained that should Bola Ahmed Tinubu appeal to him to forgo his case against Atiku Abubakar and focus on his presidential campaign that he is likely to quit his membership to the presidential campaign council of the APC. According to him, prosecuting Atiku Abubakar is a national interest which he is ready to sacrifice every other thing for.

"I’m proceeding to court. And if Asiwaju says, ‘Festus, you’re diverting from my campaign, just campaign for me.’ I will say take your campaign because this is in national interest. I have taken it personal.”
