American actress Annie Wersching who was best known for playing the role of Renee Walker in the action drama television series 24, has passed away. Annie was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer in 2020 and she battled the illness until her demise on Sunday, 29th January, 2023 in Los Angeles at the age of 45. Her publicist, Craig Schneider, broke the news of her death in a statement released on Sunday .Wersching was married to actor and comedian Stephen Full from September 2009 untill her death and they had three sons together.

Anne Wersching began her acting career with a guest appearance on the show Star Trek: Enterprise and moved on to guest starring roles on such shows as Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural, and Cold Case. Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of the television series 24. May the talented soul of Annie Wersching rest in peace.
