Actress, producer and tv personality, Yvonne Jegede has revealed the details of the break down of her shortlived married to Olakunle Fawole aka Abounce even though the two had been best friends for many years before developing a romantic relationship.
Yvonne Jegede gave details while she was a guest on an episode of the cooking show Mercy's Menu hosted by colleague, actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie. Yvonne Jegede painfully revealed that Olakunle Fawole had only seen his son, Xavier, once since the boy was born and never provided for the boy who's now 3 years old, financially. The actress further stated that all efforts to reach out to her ex-husband to see his son and take up his fatherly responsibilities have proved futile. She revealed to Mercy Johnson that she intends to remove Fawole from her son's official name if the father remains irresponsible by the time the boy turns 5.

Yvonne Jegede and Olakunle Fawole got married in February 2018 but separated less than a year after marriage.Yvonne who confirmed the end of the marriage on 6 March 2019, in an interview with Pulse Nigeria, claimed that in the marriage, the two seemed to not be on the same page or had in fact, been reading "different books". Olakunle Fawole who is a filmmaker and actor nicknamed Abounce, is the son of late veteran actress Bukky Ajayi, who passed away in July 2016 in Surulere, Lagos.
