Nollywood actress Empress Njamah has posted a video of herself wearing an engagement ring with the caption "finally off the market" while stating that she got engaged back in August. Empress Njamah was long ago involved in a public relationship with singer Timaya but the relationship ended on a rather abrupt note. The identity of her fiancé is currently unknown.

42 Year old Empress Njamah who started acting in 1995, is of Nigerian and Cameroonian origins, her brother is actor John Njamah. Empress was revealed that she was not bothered with remaining single since her family is enlightened and understands that the ratio of women to men is uneven. Empress was a close friend to her colleague, late Ada Ameh and as part of her corporate social responsibility, Empress launched a foundation called House of Empress, which caters to kids with special needs. The foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2016.
