The video embedded below belongs to the channels tv on Peter Obi Campaign outing in Rivers State today, December 22nd, 2022. The opinions expressed do not represent that of the Exola Tv but one of the Editors at the Exola Tv - Chukwu Sunday Abel (@sunabel73.
Indeed, Peter Obi euphoria and momentum has refused to go cold as suggested by many a few months ago- maybe 5 months ago when he made that popular and important switch from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the Labour Party (LP)– a party hitherto without a national outlook.
Before his switch, some Nigerians, especially the youths– characters in the historic #EndSARS October 2020 protest, had demanded a renewed Nigeria where Nigerians will indeed enjoy the dividends of Nigerianess; its vast resources particularly which corruption across several years, has been siphoning.
Interestingly, an emblem of hope he has become to many and harbinger of terror he has also become to some especially to the political class.
A look at the statement credited to governor Nyesom Wike in whose state Peter Obi held his presidential campaign rally today, stresses this. According to Wike, the 2023 general elections will retire so many politicians.
Peter Obi has reignited the spirits of patriotism among Nigerians that was before now a thing of the pre-independence administrations.
Since his emergence, the political class who are not oblivious of the glaring implications of Peter Obi's expected presidency, have not been sleepy and doggy: to them, "Peter Obi" is synonymous to "terror". Understandably why none of the elitist politicians have openly declared support for his presidential aspiration.
The video embedded below shows how Peter Obi is a "terror".
In his reignition of hope and patriotism which are the bane of the Political disinterestedness among Nigerians before now, not even the people living with disability are left out.
His campaign rallies which have been described as the most organic, are always full of those who have sworn to see Nigeria work again in their lifetime; a mission Peter Obi epitomizes.
To many, he is hope; he is also terror to some.
