Ehi Ogbebor, CEO Sayaveth Interiors and Hotel, has taken to social media to expose her housekeeper for stealing $11,000 dollars (8 million naira) from a locked safe in the house. The aggrieved boss who revealed via a video recording, the huge stash of dollars that the maid identified as Iniobong hid away, branded her "a bloody thief."
The CEO revealed to the authorities who had come to apprehend the maid that she had given her son a sum of $12,500 dollars to put away in the safe the night before and when asked to bring the money, the boy had only found $1500 dollars of the previously saved $12,500 dollars which was a huge confusion had she had been certain of the sum the boy had been earlier asked to place in the safe.
Ehi Ogbebor also exposed WhatsApp chats where her housekeeper had discussed current exchange rates with a local exchanger (Mallam) who referred to her as "customer". She stated that housekeeper, Iniobong, had planned to permanently leave the residence that night after working for less than two months but intuition made her check her safe, whereupon she found that the girl had looted the content of the safe. The housekeeper is currently in custody of law enforcement officers, according to her boss.
