The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike whose media presence has been constant lately especially for his incessant project commissioning, yesterday 1st of December, 2022, surprised many by his rare gesture.
The governor of Rivers State is shown in the video embedded below among his supporters who cheered him over his completing the project he was commissioning. However, it is the manner in which Wike took off his blazer over the weather being very hot, that stands out.
Wike took off his blazer and noted that the weather was hot. He then asked one of his supporters if he wanted it. The supportee who is a suspected Wike supporter, answered in affirmative and subsequently received the blazer from Wike while others cheered.
He also took off his hat and flung it towards his supporters.
