At least two people have been killed when unknown gunmen ran riot in Enugu state today, December 10.
According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen also set a Hilux van ablaze after fatally shooting the two victims.
The eyewitness account affirmed that the dare devil operation was carried out by gunmen enforcing the five-day sit-at-home declared by separatists in the south-eastern states.

An eyewitness in a video said the Hilux van was set ablaze opposite Colliery Hospital, New Market Road.
He further added that the gunmen, who were numbering about ten, stormed the area and shot sporadically.
He noted that the gunmen attacked the police patrol van in the early hours of today and killed the two victims before setting it ablaze.
