A few hours after publicly jubilating on the streets of Ghana, American rapper Meek Mill has posted that his phone was pickpocketed. The rapper ordered the pickpocket to "bring that Jawn back if you got it!!!". Meek Mill arrived Ghana in the late hours of Thursday 29 December 2022, in readiness for the AfroNation musical concert. Meek Mill is one of the international artists who come to Ghana yearly to perform at the musical concert. Shortly after his arrival in Ghana, Meek Mill participated in a bike race to have fun. After the bike race, the rapper took to his Instagram page to cry out over his stolen iPhone 14 promax.

Robert Rihmeek Williams known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper who was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In October 2012, Mill announced the launch of his own label imprint, Dream Chasers Records, named after his mixtape series. Meek Mill often collaborates with MMG label-mates; he has made notable appearances on MMG's Self Made compilation series, with his first two singles, "Tupac Back" (featuring Rick Ross) and "Ima Boss". Meek Mill was once involved in a public romance with fellow rapper and singer Nicki Minaj.
