Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages (LASPG), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya better known as MC Oluomo, has announced an intention to place all female commercial bus(aka Danfo) drivers in Lagos state on a monthly allowance. The chairman of LASPG, stated that the aim of the monthly allowance is to supplement the monthly earnings of these female drivers.

Mc Oluomo further pledged greater welfare packages for all drivers in the state while speaking to about 500 female danfo drivers at the agency’s secretariat in Agege, on Tuesday 13 December, 2022. Mc Oluomo further extended an immediate hand of generosity to a female driver named Meimunat Ahmed who's suffering a stroke, by gifting her the sum of #500,000 naira.
The Chairman also urged all of the women to refrain from actions that would damage the agency’s improved reputation and implored to vote continuity by voting Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress and incumbent governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the forthcoming elections of 2023.
