Labour Party Crisis Becomes Dirtier, NWC Sacks As National Publicity Secretary, Arabambi Oluwafemi Abayomi



The internal crisis of the Labour Party (LP) is taking an uglier twist especially as the party's National Publicity Secretary, Arabambi Oluwafemi is relieved of his position by the National Working Committee of the party.

Arabambi Oluwafemi was reported involved in antiparty activities including wrongly accusing the spokesperson of the Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign council, Doyin Okukpe of embezzlement.

He has subsequently been making some unfounded revelations about the party including that Peter Obi and Labour Party (LP) do not enjoy organic support as being speculated. He alleged that Peter Obi's campaign rally in Ibadan was preceded by huge amount of money released for mobilizing the mammoth crowd at the campaign rally.

Consequently, the Labour Party (LP) National Working Committee (NWC) according to the a statement released on Labour Party's official website, has relieved Arabambi Oluwafemi his position and further dissolved the Ogun state Executives of the party.

"Labour Party NWC Relieves Ag. National Publicity Secretary; Comr. Arabambi Oluwafemi Abayomi Of His Position, Dissolves Ogun Executives", the statement reads in part.

Arabambi Oluwafemi is accused of working for another forefront presidential candidate with the aim of causing chaos and destabilizing the party ahead of the February 25th presidential election.
