Singer and songwriter Cynthia Morgan who recently changed her name to Madrina has revealed why she halted her music career. Cynthia stated that she had been born a prophet but couldn't make use of her gift because she was born into a family of Jehovah's Witnesses who do not believe in prophets. According to Cynthia, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus Christ was the last prophet and there will be no other prophets until The Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Cynthia Morgan now known as Madrina, stated that she gave up her life-long dream of winning a Grammy's to become a prophet. She further revealed that she had struggled with her gift from the age of 16 until the age of 25 when she realised there'd be no escape and that she had been wasting her time. The former singer declared that she has now properly accepted her calling and was fully ready to embrace it as music was something she had delved into thinking her gift of prophecy "a fluke" and something temporary.
