Comedian and skitmaker Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu better known as Oga Sabinus, has put up apology video to the students of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state for failing to turn up at an event he received payment to appear at. The show's promoter, a comedian named Crazy Legs, called out Sabinus for failing to turn up after receiving a payment of 2 million naira. Crazy Legs also revealed the comedian's flight ticket had also been by the show's organisers in anticipation of his turning up at the event and that every attempt to get through to the comedian on the day of the event, had been futile.
Following Sabinus's failure to turn up at the event, the disappointed and displeased party guests meted out their displeasure on the show's promoter Crazy Legs by beating him up and vandalising several property at the venue. Sabinus has in turn, responded to the call out by pleading ill health as his reason for disappointing the show's promoter. He promised to try his possible best to turn up at the polytechnic before the first week in December.

In addition to his apology, Sabinus offered the show's promoter a payment refund if he wanted a refund instead of a rescheduled date. Crazy Legs, the show's promoter has vehemently insisted that Sabinus has to not only do a refund of the payment received but also pay for the damaged incurred from the venue's vandalisation as a result of his disappointing absence. Crazy Legs also accused Sabinus of ruining his career as a show promoter.
