Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2023 presidential election was articulate in his speech today in Gbaramatu in Delta State.
As the campaign is heating up among the forefront presidential candidates, Bola Ahmed Tinubu carpeted the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar over his frequent running for the position of the Nigeria's president. He urged Atiku whom the media describe as a serial presidential candidate, "to go and sit down ".
According to Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar "will continue to run until he runs down".
While speaking about Peter Obi, he ridiculed the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) over his incessant reference to statistics. According to Tinubu, Peter Obi whose name he says is a disgrace for him to mention, references wrong statistics and arithmetic figures which Indians are incapable of solving. He added that Peter Obi is only aware of warehouse economy and not national leadership and economy.
Tinubu's statement in Gbaramatu has further made some commentators question whether his campaign is an issue based one or mere avenue for hauling insults at his opponents.
