Video: Unrepentant Atiku Abubakar Gaffes Again, Gets Tongue-lashed For His Bigotry Statement In Gombe Yesterday

The presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has again come under intense criticism by Nigerians after repeating his infamous bigotry statement in which he enjoined the Northern Nigerian electorates not to vote for presidential candidates from other tribes.

Atiku Abubakar who was heavily criticized for the controversial statement adjudged by many as divisive, yesterday during his presidential campaign outing in Gombe state, enjoined the Gombe electorates to vote for him so that he will replicate the ideals of first and only Nigerian prime minister, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. He further asked them if they do not desire to see another of their own as the president of Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar has subsequently been criticized and accused of fanning embers of division and ethnicity despite his specious claim of being a unifier.

The serial presidential aspirant looks forward to succeeding president Muhammadu Buhari, his fellow Fulani as the president of Nigeria. Atiku Abubakar's ambition has plunged his Political party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) into an aggravating infighting. There are allegations that the party has been hijacked and dominated by northerners and currently serving their interest at the expense of the party's southern members.
