The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi was mobbed by thousands of his supporters in Ibadan, Oyo State today 23rd of November, 2022.
Mr. Peter Obi whose private jet was grounded by the Nigerian authority over some alleged breach of regulations, arrived Oyo State for his presidential campaign rally behind schedule in consequence.
While attempting to gain entrance to the venue for his campaign rally, his numerous supporters blocked the way while chanting his name. Despite the spirited effort by the security team on ground to compel the excited supporters to giveaway for his passage into the venue, they remained obstinate.
Obi's campaign rally in Ibadan, Oyo State today has attracted varying reactions from people online. This is due to the fact that many had suggested that the youth-backed Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate is less popular in the southwest geopolitical zone of the federation in exception of Lagos State.
However, the crowd spotted at the campaign ground suggest that Peter Popularity among the Oyo people might be underestimated.
