The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the 2023 elections, Peter Obi escaped being stabbed by a man who disguised among the crowd of his supporters in Ibadan, Yesterday.
Recall that the Exola Tv had reported that the Labour Party (LP) held it presidential campaign rally in Ibadan, Oyo State yesterday. Amid the unease Peter Obi faced while trying to gain entrance to the campaign venue, a man whose accent reveals he is from the northern part of Nigeria, was caught with a small dagger round his waist and shielded by the suit he wore.
He was said to be standing on the exact path Mr. Peter Obi was to go by and had intended to stab him if Mr. Peter Obi did walk past him closely.
The suspect as seen in the video, was immediately seized by the security personnels on ground.

Mr. Peter Obi has in the past received warnings from people to beef up his security team especially as his political fortune in the 2023 presidential election appears certain.
