A few weeks ago, Nollywood actress and producer Nkechi Blessing Sunday, revealed to the public and to the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi that she was available to be his next bride after she photoshopped herself into a photo of the monarch while stating that she was patiently waiting for her turn. The Ooni is a serial polygamist who has married six wives in quick succession.
Nkechi Blessing Sunday has indeed started out on her "mission" by visiting the Ooni of Ife in his palace at Ile-Ife Osun state, to the surprise of netizens who had assumed her earlier post about being available to join the Ooni's harem a joke. Nkechi Blessing Sunday who visited the monarch on Monday 21st November 2022, posted a picture of herself seated in the monarch's presence with the caption "ever met a jovial king? Well this picture says it all. I have never laughed this hard in a long time. Thank you so much for the warm reception his Imperial Majesty Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II. God bless your existence.”
Nkechi Blessing had attended the 2022 edition of Queen Morémi Ajasoro Cultural Pageantry alongside other Yoruba celebrities as judges of the event that took place in the Ooni’s palace. Nkechi Blessing Sunday is also known for her controversial nature on social media and the public/messy break up of her relationship with ex-lover Opeyemi David Falegan, a purported politician whom she had initially claimed to be married to. Netizens have joked that the entire country will soon know the shape and size of Oba Ogunwusi's private parts as Nkechi is known for being extremely expressive about private matters.
