In a series of posts gradually circulating the internet, a Nigerian Tweeter user schooling in the UK identified as @realityoflilife has called out Zenith Bank For "ruining his life". In the tweet, the student alleged that his admission/visa sponsorship was on the verge of being withdrawn by the university as a result of Zenith bank's inability to credit the University for a transaction that was earlier approved in August 2022.

The Tweeter User called out Zenith Bank for their bad customer service and terrible banking service while further accusing the bank of ruining his life. The poster claimed to be a final year student of Greenwich University and had been given a deadline of withdrawal by his uni following his inability to complete all parts of his registration as a result of an unexecuted transaction by Zenith Bank. The Tweeter User on the verge of withdrawal claimed to have so far spent over 30 million naira on his studies and was desperate to complete his programme.
