Video of Argentina's national football team captain, Lionel Messi allegedly wiping the floor with a Mexican shirt, has been making the rounds on the internet.
The video which is embedded below shows Lionel Messi and his teammates celebrating their important win over Mexico on Saturday night. Lionel Messi who was the catalyst of Argentina's Victory over Mexico, scored the opener and assisted the second in a two-goal thriller.
Reacting to the viral video, Mexican boxer Canelo Álvarez has threatened through his Twitter handle to physically take on Lionel Messi. He claims Lionel Messi cleaned/wiped the floor with a shirt of the Mexican national team. However, the video in circulation shows that Lionel Messi was removing his boots.
It also reveals that Messi's foot unconsciously shifted the Mexican shirt from it original position. At present, neither Lionel Messi nor his national team coach has reacted to the allegation.
