The Vice-Principal of Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) senior section, Abba Murke in Adamawa State, Enoch Kwaleji has been arrested by operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command for the alleged defilement of a minor.
The 52-year old Kwaleji, a resident of Salama House, Sangere Jabbi Lamba, Girei was reported to have deceived the 13-year old girl on November 15, at about 7pm to follow him to an uncompleted building. He was said to have raped her at the place.
It was gathered that the mother of the minor having gotten wind of the incident by her daughter, reported the incident to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Jabbi, Lamba.

The Police then swooped into action and in the process arrested the accused.
The spokesman of the Adamawa State Police Command, SP Suleiman Ngoruje while confirming the incident, said the State Police Commissioner frowned at the incident and has directed the Officer in charge of Family unit to take over the investigation while ensuring diligent prosecution.
He also enjoined members of the public especially parents to be watchful of their children against criminal-minded elements who are roaming about seeking who to take advantage of.
