Australian actress and comedian Rebel Wilson has announced the birth of her first child via surrogate. The Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect star shared the first picture of daughter Royce Lilly on her social media platforms, describing her as a "beautiful miracle". 42 year old Rebel Wilson also thanked the "gorgeous" surrogate for helping her to have her own family. Rebel Wilson had shared her struggles with fertility and polycystic ovarian syndrome earlier in May. She had also revealed that she had undergone the process to harvest her eggs in 2019.

Rebel Wilson who was known for her plus sized figure for many years until her decision to lose weight has stated that she suffers from emotional eating due to pressures of fame. She is an advocate for body positivity who used her plus sized figure as an object of self-ridicule in her comedy and film. Rebel publicly revealed that she was a lesbian in June 2022 and spoke of her relationship with Ramona Arguma. Congratulations to Rebel on the birth of her daughter.
