Davido's Uncle, Ademola Adeleke Sworn In As New Osun Governor

 Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has been sworn-in by the Osun State Chief Judge as the 6th elected Governor of Osun State on Sunday morning.

Governor Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the younger brother to Davido's father, Deji Adeleke became Governor after he defeated immediate past Governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 2022 gubernatorial polls.

 Adeleke became the governor of Osun State at exactly 11.54 amafter being administered oaths of allegiance and office by the State’s President of the Customary Court before a mammoth crowd of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members, supporters and guests from all walks of life.

He immediately reversed some of the outgone Governor's policies, reverted State of Osun to Osun State and ordered the freezing of Osun State accounts.
