The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has revealed that Mrs Mosunmola Sangodara, the APC'S candidate for Surulere constituency, at the State House of Assembly forged her Higher National Diploma Certificate. Deputy Registrar of the polytechnic, Mr Olufunmi Dada made this revelation at a Federal High Court in Lagos on Tuesday, 4th October 2022.

The Deputy Registrar of the polytechnic provided the school's graduation list within the period of 1992-1997 and none of them had the defendant's name on the list. Olufunmi Dada further claimed that the exemption letter supposedly received by the defendant from the National Youth Service Corps was a forgery. The forgery suit was filed by Olasukanmi Kazeem Shittu, in challenge of Mrs Monsumola Sangodara's candidacy. The judge, Justice Nicholas Oweibo, admitted the convocation lists presented by the deputy registrar as evidence and adjourned the case until Wednesday 5th October, 2022. Mrs Mosunmola Sangodara is yet to give a statement refuting or acknowledging these claims to the press or her constituents.
