In a report given by human rights activist Lucky Udu, truck drivers have been stuck in one of the longest traffic jams ever witnessed. The truck drivers revealed that some of them have been stuck in the traffic jam for as long as one week while showing off their arms which were mostly riddled with mosquito bites. The drivers also told Lucky Udu that their monthly pay from the truck companies was the sum of 5,000 naira.

The traffic congestion was caused by huge erosion in the roads which had deep and dangerous holes in them . The location of this week long congestion is Uromi junction, Agbor, Delta state. The road is also reported to be a federal road and has been in such a deplorable state for many months without any sign of government intervention. Lucky Udu further stated that the community locals revealed that the horrible of the road in Uromi junction, had caused the death of a man, his wife and child.
