Nollywood actor and TV host Chidi Mokeme has made a post revealing how pained he becomes each time he remembers that the PDP's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, deleted the tweet he initially posted in condemnation of Deborah Samuel's gruesome murder. The actor stated that Atiku's action of deleting the tweet constantly moves him to tears. Chidi Mokeme further said that up until the time when Atiku deleted the tweet condemning the killing, he had always harboured a huge likeness for the politician.
Deborah Samuel who was a student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, was burned to death my classmates and fellow students of the college for allegedly making insulting remarks about Prophet Muhammad. Deborah who was a Christian had been mobbed and burned to death by Muslim students of the college.
The PDP's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar had put up a tweet condemning the murder but went on to delete the tweet after reportedly receiving backlash and threats from his fellow Northern Muslims.
