In a video gradually making the rounds on the internet, former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo was seen taking the Labour Party's presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi by hand and handing over a meeting to him while declaring ''my job is done".
Peter Obi who had quietly walked into the meeting venue without attempting to drag attention, had been spotted by former president Olusegun Obasanjo. The former president had approached Peter Obi, took by hand and walked from table 9 to table 1 and offered him the exact seat he had been occupying. This obvious gesture of endorsement brought forth warm applauses from the participants.

Nigerians have reacted to the video by stating that the former presidents utterance of "my job is done" to Peter Obi was a monumental and symbolic endorsement. Supporters of the Obidient Movement are hopeful that this gesture by former president Olusegun Obasanjo is one more goodwill in the long list of acceptance and endorsement the Labour Party's presidential candidate has so far, enjoyed from the politicial godfathers.
