Following the loss of his billionaire status to a net worth of 400 million dollars as a result of the termination of partnership with organisations like Def Jam, Balenciaga, Gap and biggest of all Adidas, rapper Kanye West has tendered an apology to the Jews. The rapper had spent weeks making a barrage of antisemitic remarks on social media and national media.
Kanye West in a video, seemed rather incoherent as he revealed that he had no intention of "holding the apology hostage". The rapper further stated that "God told us to be judgemental" hence his reason for tendering a sincere apology to the Jewish people. Kanye also added that he believes God wants him to get to the world and he could not be in God's way just as he could not allow other people be in God's way. He stated that he had to listen to God's way as a Samurai and was sorry for the way he made the Jews and other people feel as he thought of them as "his brothers". Kanye urged everyone to come together to serve God collectively.

Negative backlash has trailed Kanye's apology as many have wondered if the rapper is on drugs considering the incoherence evident in his apology. Many others wonder if the rapper is slowly losing grip with reality to the point where he might be in need of intervention from a mental institution.
