Since the absence of the APC's presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the signing of the Peace Accord, Nigerians have wondered about his whereabouts. Speculations moved from the candidate being critically ill and in need of an organ transplant to his being on his deathbed. While the All Progressives Congress tried to debunk these rumours, the fact that they kept realising old photos of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the public did not assuage citizens concern of his whereabouts.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu proved to Nigerians that he's alive and "healthy" when he returned to the country on the night of Wednesday 5th October 2022, amidst cheers of ''City Boy". He further spoke to pressmen on Friday 7th October 2022, in an address aimed at the public. Bola Ahmed Tinubu assured Nigerians that the help they need is here and that the almost jittering hope is back. He emphatically that he's finally back and ready rebuild whatever needs to be rebuilt.
