How Apostle Johnson Suleman escaped assassination, Reportedly 7 people including his daughter killed.

 

Apostle Johnson Suleman escaped assassination/kidnapping yesterday evening  along Warake Road, Auchi. Sadly 7 members of his team, including police escorts and his daughter were killed.

According to the Punch, Suleman had just returned from a foreign vacation and was on his way to a destination in Edo State when gunmen assaulted his convoy in the Auchi region of the state.

During the incident, the gunmen allegedly opened fire on his convoy, killing three of his orderlies and four other unidentified people.

Suleman's lawyer, Samuel Amune, confirmed the attack, he said " He was returning from a journey and he had almost gotten on the shores of Auchi when some assassins attacked him. Three of his police among others died. He travelled before and just fnished a programme in Tanzania day before yesterday. 

Reacting to the incident in a video posted on his Twitter handle on Friday, Suleman said that he escaped an assassination attempt on his life, noting that seven lives were lost to the attack.

He said, “My car was attacked; they opened fire on my car and kept spraying bullets, my wife and kids were in the escort car in the front. They killed the police; they killed the other people on the other escort car and the buses with us. Seven people moving in the convoy were killed.

Describing the incident as an “assassination attempt”, he expressed sadness over those that were killed, but said the gunmen will “reap the seed they s
ow”.
