Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, has accused ex-husband Brad Pitt of physical assault. Jolie filed court papers accusing Brad Pitt of drunkenly attacking her and their children during a private plane flight, prompting her to file for divorce. She further revealed that Pitt grabbed her by the head, verbally abused her and attacked two of their children while on a trip in 2016. Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt are currently dealing with a lawsuit over ownership of a French winery they jointly purchased during their marriage.
Brad Pitt has vehemently denied his ex-wife's accusation of physical assault and insists that Angelina is out to harm his reputation as result of their differences over ownership of the winery. He claims that her decision to sell her stake in the winery to a Russian oligarch amounted to an attempt to "undermine" his investment and cause "gratuitous harm" to Mr Pitt, who had "poured money and sweat equity into the wine business".

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt dubbed "Brangelina" by Hollywood paparazzi during their marriage, were married from 2014-2016 when Angelina filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. In 2005, The couple started a courtship which lasted 12 years before they tied the knot in 2014.They were both declared legally single one April 12, 2019. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children together. Of the sid children, three were adopted internationally, while the other three are biological children of the two Hollywood stars.
