Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has revealed that he intends to hold his new partner like a thief if he ever finds somebody who likes him again. He made this fervent declaration on this verified social media platforms. He stated: "If I find somebody who likes me again, I go hold am like thief. 😩". The actor was involved in a highly publicised romance with model and entrepreneur, Fancy Acholonu. The break up between Alex and Fancy garnered a great deal of attention as Fancy had ended the five year relationship in August 2022, a few months before the couple's already announced wedding dates slated for 20th & 27th November, 2021.
Massive speculation had followed the rather cryptic post Fancy had put up on her social media platforms announcing the couple's broken engagement. A huge number of people chose to believe that she abruptly ended the relationship because she discovered Alex Ekubo was a homosexual male. Fancy however cleared the air on this assumption a few months after the abrupt end of their relationship.

Alexx Ekubo is a 36 year old Nigerian actor, lawyer and model. He was first runner up at the 2010 Mr Nigeria contest. He won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards for his role in the Weekend Getaway.
